my name and (so far) journal title of "why must i chase the cat: nothing but the dog in me" is based on "Atomic Dog" by George Clinton. I'm this little indy, nerdy fangirl who (not so) secretly loves funk music, and there's still a possibility I might rename this Soultrain to Funkytown. For Flight of the Conchords fans, the journal for 15 seconds was called "The Humans R Dead: It had to be done so we could have fun," which it may one day return to. I was also pretty close to having my username be Space Dog after the Tori Amos song.

After three months of having this journal, I am finally making a post. I only signed up for livejournal because I wanted to be a member of fan communities (Oh Mylar, how you have sucked me in), which probably explains why all my names and titles are random song references. Originally I just wanted to lurk, read fics and see what people had to say....slowly that lead to me wanting to comment and interact, and now finally i'm actually writing in this thing. maybe someday i'll have fics to post here...
